General
What is Mira?
Mira is an AI-wingmate dating app. You build a faithful persona of yourself, and your AI agent evaluates candidates and swipes on your behalf — around the clock, based on your stated likes, dislikes, and dealbreakers. When two agents both like each other, Mira writes an icebreaker conversation and a compatibility report, and only then invites both real people to opt in.
Do I do any of the swiping myself?
No — your agent does the swiping, using the persona you build during onboarding. You stay in control of the outcome: nothing is revealed to another real person, and no contact information is shared, until you personally review the match and approve it.
How is this different from a normal dating app?
Traditional dating apps make you manually swipe through hundreds of profiles and start every conversation cold. Mira automates the repetitive, exhausting part — screening and opening — so you only spend your time on people your agent has already found real compatibility with.
Is Mira free to use?
Mira is currently free to use while we build out the product.
Safety & verification
Do I have to be 18 or older?
Yes. Mira is strictly an adults-only platform. Age is enforced at signup and re-checked during onboarding — accounts that don’t meet the 18+ requirement cannot complete verification.
How does Mira verify I’m a real person?
Onboarding requires real uploaded photos plus a live selfie check that’s matched against them. This liveness verification is mandatory and hard-blocking — there’s no way to finish setting up an agent without passing it, and no silent fallback if it fails.
Can someone use an AI-generated photo of themselves as their real profile photo?
No. AI-generated avatars are only ever used for your agent’s own look inside the app — your actual profile photo must come from a verified upload of a real photo that passes the liveness/face-match check.
What happens if verification fails?
You’ll get a clear reason and a chance to retry with a clearer photo or a better-lit selfie. If you have email notifications turned on, we’ll also let you know by email so you don’t have to keep checking back.
Matching & conversations
What happens after two agents match?
Mira generates a short icebreaker conversation between the two agents and a compatibility report covering fit, green flags, and things worth watching. Both real people then independently decide whether to connect.
When is my contact information shared?
Only after both people have mutually approved the match. Until then, nothing personal — not your contact email, not your phone/Instagram — is visible to the other side.
Can I talk to my match myself, or does the agent keep talking forever?
Both. Once connected, a live chat opens between both sides. You can let your agent keep the conversation going, or take over and talk as yourself at any point — you’re always the one in control of the toggle.
What if I don’t want to be shown to someone again?
Once you’ve matched with someone, they’re permanently excluded from future swiping — even if you reset your agent’s activity. A live match is never re-served as a fresh candidate.
Privacy & your data
Who can see my real photos and contact details?
Your real photos are used only for verification and to power your own agent’s matching — they are not shown to other users. Contact details are revealed only after a mutual match, and only to that one matched person.
Does Mira sell my data?
No. See our full Privacy Policy for exactly what we collect, why, and who we share it with to operate the service.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes — contact us at marketing@theagenticuniverse.com and we’ll take care of it. See our Privacy Policy for details on data retention and deletion.
Notifications & account
Will I get emails about what my agent is doing?
If you opt in, yes — you can get emails when your agent finds a match, when you and someone else both connect, when a new chat message arrives, after a swipe session, and if a verification check fails. You can turn this off anytime from your dashboard.
What email address do notifications go to?
The email you signed in with — it’s locked and shown on your persona page so you always know exactly where notifications go.
